has it really been eight months?!

Hello again.

I'm a bit pants at this blog, aren't I?  I keep meaning to update, then I read all your posts and I decide that I don't have anything interesting to say and I wander off again.

I have something to tell you now, though.  S and I got engaged last month!

I am ridiculously happy.  I still look down at my (lovely, lovely) engagement ring (solitaire diamond on a rose gold band) and I can't quite believe it's really my hand.

We are getting hitched next June.  I honestly never thought I would be this happy :-)
