dipping a toe

Hello!

I've been away for a while - I thought it was just a few months but turns out it was over a year.  Not sure where that time went.

How are you all?  I am trying to catch up with everyone but I think I neglected my blog for so long that links have broken or people have moved addresses.  If you are out there and still reading please drop in and say hello.  I have tea and cake...

Not a huge amount has happened in the past 15 months.  I've travelled a little (New Orleans, Philadelphia, Crete, various parts of England); been ill and recovered (long story involving breast lumps and surgeries); read a lot of books (major crime fiction kick while recovering from surgery) and lost a few members of my family (two uncles, one aunt).

S and I are still together, which is very lovely.  And I traded in my old car for a lovely shiny new one in October.

So that's me, dipping a toe back into bloggy waters :-)
