I think my media player has intelligence. This is what it decided to throw up via random play this morning as I was re-reading my recent posts and the wonderful comments from you all in the blogosphere. First and then, and finally
Okay, I admit that the last one doesn't really have that much to do with the price of fish but damn, that song (and video) makes me smile!

Sweet Illanare,
ReplyDeleteI know there is no "one thing" that makes IBS better or we'd all already have done it, but only 3 days after my no more gluten, dairy or egg diet began, my IBS was just about gone. After 35 years of it.
So-- I'm just sayin', you may want to try two weeks of gluten free- I think that is my major culprit--Gluten free is hard- and wheat is in a lot of stuff (and so is barley!). I do not worry about parts per million. I miss bread terribly. BUT I went from 3-4 bad days a week to 8 episodes all of last year, and that is WITH all the IF stress and work stress. For me it has been miraculous.
I am sorry for all of your struggles, all of them. Depression sucks ass, and I am glad you're figuring out the pieces. I think the most important thing is to recognize that you are doing really well-- you really are-- you are resilient and strong (and human and hurting). And Depression is a perfectly reasonable response to your past year.If you think of yourself as a dear friend, and step back and take a compassionate look, you will see that you (and your darlin') are just trying to make it through a really hard time. And emotional and physical repercussions are not surprising.
Please take good care of yourself, play a little when you can, lean on your friends, and I hope your belly calms.
Just wanted to send love,
xo
