These are a few of my favourite things from yesterday.
Watching lindy-hopping while thawing out at the Royal Festival Hall with my friend Poster Girl.
"That girl in the tartan mini skirt and black tights is amazing," said Poster Girl.
"Actually that's a man in a tartan mini skirt and black tights," I said.
"So it is," Poster Girl replied, with no surprise in her voice. "Silly me."
The German Christmas Market on the banks of Thames.
Father Christmas playing "Let it Snow" on the steel drums on the Golden Jubilee Bridge.
My darling little cat looking at me when I came home from the garden centre with soil on my jumper and pine needles in my hair (from carry a tree)

Simple things... and yet so meaningful. I am glad you have all these little pieces of happiness.

Illanare, lovely to come back to Blogland and see your kitty smiling back. One of these days I'll post some pictures of our three, perhaps all snuggled up together and being a big ball of furry, heart-warming goodness. Just the best thing ever to come home to, eh? And you've inspired me to make a trip up to London to see the sights, it all looks so Christmassy and magical. Love L xxxx
ReplyDeleteI've spent Christmas in London - so many sparkling lights (to make up for it getting dark so early) and so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of your cat. She looks like a real character. Bless our furry friends!
