Happy (slightly belated) New Year! I hope that 2013 is good to you.
When I started this blog waaay back in summer 2009 I weighed 9 stone (126lbs / 57kg) which was a BMI of 23.84 (healthy). Today I weigh 11 stone (154lbs / 69kg) which is a BMI of 29.13 (overweight). This can not go on any longer so 2013 is going to be my Streamling Year. By the time I write my first post of 2014, I really, really, really want to be back to my 2009 weight.

I have been inspired to do this mainly because I can't lug this weight around any longer. But I have also been inspired by Rach, who is on her own mission. Rach, you are an awesome inspiration!

Let me join you, Illanare in working on losing weight at a reasonable amount!
ReplyDeleteSince last February's surgery, I had gained 40 pounds. I shouldn't be surprised, since I have emotional eating- more sad or mad I feel, more I eat! So I need to handle my emotions without relapsing to eat.
You're right about Rach- more I look through her blog, she is an inspiration. I'm also reading two books- "Throw Out Fifty things, Find your life" (I hadn't realized until reading, that a lot of stuff I have is very much related to my dreams of having children, so that's what I'm working on...letting go) ohh..the second book- it's at work. Drats! I'll have to find it and bring back to read the title. LOL
Hmmmm. I need to join you. I want to join you. Wishing you (and me) luck.
ReplyDeleteOh thank you sweetheart!! Like you, I'm determined to be a lot lighter by the time I write my first post for 2014 too!!
ReplyDeleteWE CAN DO IT!!!
And so can anyone else who wants to come along for the ride and adventure - we can get a cheer squad going!!
xxx
You can do it!!! I lost 10 lbs in the fall of 2012 (after a big summer weight gain). I found the first couple weeks to be hard but it got easier as it went. You can totally do it!!! good luck and I hope 2013 is a very happy year for you!
